Hi everyone. My name is Laura and I am new to weaving even though I have had looms for many years with the intent to learn. Many years ago, probably in the mid 90's, I was given a Gobelin loom. The woman who gave it to me had no idea what it was and I did, so she gave it to me. I have used it before and like it. I know these looms are no longer made, but I was wondering more about them like the years they were made, what kind of wood was used, how much they cost new and any other info about them. I did request warping instructions on it and that is the only thing I know about it. My loom has inside measurements of almost 40 inches. Thank you for any information you can give me.

Hi, I also recently bought a Gobelin loom. I was not able to find any warping instructions on it, where did you find yours? I don't have much info to add, but I've been looking for instructions on how to warp the loom for a bit :)

I wrote to Glimakra and they sent me photocopied instructions on how to warp it. I would like to know more about these looms. Good luck with yours.

I recently got this gobelin loom and was only able to download the general instructions about this loom.  I'm hoping to find others that have had some experience with it that you can share. It's very beautiful piece of furniture otherwise.

I just purchased a Glimakra Gobelin and found the assembly instructions on the Glimakra website for this old model.  Could anyone share the instructions on how to warp the Glimakra Gobelin with me?
