Until the techs manage to fix the problem with having to scroll through pages of postings to find the latest post - is it possible to start a new thread once a topic reaches the end of its second page?

Its getting harder and slower to access the WAL1 thread as its very busy, and its now heading for its 4th page, guys! (well done, this is a great group!)

Once we can click on the little link in the topic summary and get taken to the new posts we will be fine, but until then we have to read dates etc and the little pink icons don't always show up - it can be off-putting.

Just my thoughts on a work-around to this problem, as we are the one of the busiest forums on Weavolution!

Yes, the rigid heddle and the backstrap groups are getting bogged down because they are  busy, victims of their own success.

But starting a new thread every two pages is not exactly going to work either. I'm already having trouble keeping mental notes of what threads I'm following.

The forum messages need to be arranged chronologically. Putting a reply under the message being replied to is good in theory, but it is a pain to navigate. And one day very soon it will cause me to walk back to the other forums that are arranged chronologically.

Because life is too short to continually fight with this message mess.

Have a good day!

Sounds like a great idea.  We are pushing the developers to do something soon but until I hear from them that they can and have fixed it, we need a work-around.  Starting a new topic thread is a good idea.
