SODA ASH eats Corrian. I have a couple splash marks - forever.

One of the benefits of Corian is that it can be easily repaired and/or refurbished as it is a solid material consistent through and through.  Here is the web page for maintenance and repair instructions.  Don't worry.  If you can't get it to look like you want there are pros who can do it.

Soda ash is corrosive!  To skin and eyes too.  Be careful.
