I'm new to weaving and learning by doing.  I just started a project using a Chenile yarn.  One strand that is threaded thru an eye has an issue.  It has separated and the Chenile has come off the strand and the exposed thread continues to increase with every pass of the heddle.  How do I fix this?

Make a repair thread. Pin it at the fell line with enough to spare so that you can needle weave it into the piece when finished. Make this thread long enough to go to the end and weight it off the baci of the loom.

When you continue, you may need to nurse this thread a bit, just weave carefully. Slubby yarns are not recommended for warp on the rigid heddle because they weill tend to fray. You need not bring your heddle to the fell line with every beat - instead, use the shuttle or a pickup stick to press the weft into place. This will eliminate the extra wear you have now.
