I discovered that Sun Yellow and Navy silk organza (on the right) do not play well together in the bath water.  (They were rinsed separately the first 10 minute rinse.)  The silk paj was fine - what you see is just wrinkles.  A do-over!

It appears that Anne(need corrections here) rinsed, 2nd bath with vinegar,  two different colors together in the wash down process and the navy stained the yellow.  You do not need to repeat this experiment.  Putting the lightest and darkest colors together is the extreme test, and only the wimpy yellow had a visible change. But this means that it happens.

What we learn here is that each color needs to be washed down alone, mixed substrates can cohabit.
