warping question

I'm planning a scarf that needs 2 colors in the warp, alternating with each thread, ie blue then green then blue, etc.  Do I need to cut and tie off at each end of the warping board each time or is there another way?  There HAS to be another way!

The better way is to tie the two colors together and, while holding your index finger between the two threads, wind the warp.  That way you are winding both threads at the same time and your finger prevents them from tangling on each other.
