Updated dye blog - colors from my valley - take 1

I just updated my webpage blog with dye photos, over the past 3 months I've grown woad and Japanese Indigo.

I've also used some cactus tuna, cedar chips and chopped up a huge agarita root...all from my valley here in the Texas Hill country.  Here is a link to my blog  with photos and explanations.

Here are the lineup of colors below from top to bottom, agarita, cacus tuna, Japanese Indigo, silk on top is woad, and the yellow in the bottom of the photo is the Japanese Indigo leaves simmered with wool after you pull the blue out!

I am glad to be home in Texas and look forward to trying some more dyestuff here in my valley!
