I made a trip down to San Antonio to check out the Surface Design vendor market.  Here is the link to market hours and times (open free to public)

It was worth the trip!  I even got to meet Cat, who is a frequent contributor here on Weavo.  I found out I am a good customer of her husband, a woodworker, at the Bourne KidnEwe festival!  No wonder he knows what weavers need,  I love his wooden tools.  This time though at the SDA conference he is helping Cat with her handwovens. They are beautiful!

Of course, Habu and John Marshal are there, both with a boatload of yarns.

PLUS the gallery shows were great, one does have to drive around and rely on your navagatio system but they are all different and interesting! Hey, if you are local you have your car anyway.

 (I would have posted photos to this note but my photos are still in my iphone AND I still CANNOT post photos to messages {Hint Hint}}

Definitely worth driving over to San Antonio and checking out the galleries, the SDA marketplace and bookstore AND of course the restaurants on the Riverwalk.  Take a friend and spend the night!  Deb Mc
