Anyone have plans for a hroizinal warping mill that are not complicated....I thought the post where someone reused a warping board was clever but the plan wasn't clear.  Any input..???

Hi Judy, I just invested in a the mid size mill from Glimakra, I like the spin of the Schacht vertical but the warp length wasn't long enough.  I tried the Schacht horizontal but found it too clumsy (just me) couldn't get a rythm going.  Initially thought the Glimakra was flimsy but now I really like it and can get some pretty long warps on there.  Like how it can use either 2 cross bars with pegs or just a metal peg which makes it super easy to release the warp when done.  I had built my own previously and it worked really well, just don't have the building inclination lately.

My home built one was loosely built on diagrams from the lecerc mill, all generic hardware stuff, it wasn't too hard and worked well (like and idiot I sold it) my mitre saw is broken hence the hefty $$$ for Glimakra, happy with it though.
