actually let me sleep in til 6:25 this morning - okay so they had me up at 2:23, 4:14 and 5 but . . . . they are now waiting in the car to go to the dog park. We opened presents last night - imaginae my surprise to find a new to me spinning wheel under the tree  ;)  - Have a great day everyone.

new to me wheel - it is about 3 - 4 years old but not heavily used. I am starting to play with it - It was my present to myself. My mom got me a ball winder and my sister an umbrella swift. I think tomorrow I will take my gift card to Fiber Crafts and buy a set of  cards and some locks . . .   I have some roving but would like to make some rolags to spin from.

Congrats on your new wheel!  Sometimes you just have to get something for yourself.  I am going out later this week (assuming I can get out of the driveway here in constantly snowing Michigan) and get my self the band saw I have wanted for a while.
