Hi everyone,

Does anyone have a photo of their Macomber tensioner in use that they would share? I'm getting things set up and I want to get it right.

Thanks for the photos--do you run one end through each of the guide holes, or multiples depending on sett?

There are 70 or so holes.  I suppose if your sett were > 30 epi you might consider putting 2 in each hole.  I've used my other loom for finer than that, because there is less loom waste and the warp in question was silk, and I generally don't go much finer than 30 epi.

I got a lightly-used AVL warping wheel recently, and so will be comparing the two.  I just have to get to the end of warps on both looms.
