I don't see a draft here (kind of pointless post), but you can treadle it with 4 treadles on an 8 shaft loom. Even if you thread 8 shafts.

Sorry, I have made many mistakes...I have begun to post here only yesterday and surely I have made anything right :-(

Yes I know that herringbone need only 4 treadles! What I was describing was my loom:-)
