have a 48/4 Macomber loom that I restored. It comes with a 15 dent SS Macomber reed, I have put on 800 new insertion eye heddles. (you can purchase more from me at $14 per 100) It has 20 super hooks,  a ratchet plain beam. Strings on the cloth & warp beam with 1/2 inch tubular steel bars.  I will also include a raddle and lease sticks. I am asking $800 firm. I will deliver it to the first 100 miles (RT) for free) over 100 miles I will have to ask $.55 per mile to cover the gas.

Any plans to bring a loom out to visit old haunts? ;) LOL

Seriously,  this is exactly what I am looking for.  Eventually one will turn up, I guess. :)

Michael- Many thanks to you and Cheryl for the delivery and set up of my new loom!  You provided so much more assistance than I was hoping for.  Loomie is resting quietly in place after I did a generic treadle set up and played with the various bits and pieces.  Love the bench you made too!  Hope you made it home safely and the cold is gone quickly!

I think "Loomie" will be happy in its new location. Cheryl and I are home safe, thank you. We enjoyed meeting you and your husband and visiting with Catherine in Ashville. We did stop at "one" GW store. Cheryl pick up something and I got a book but the line was very long so we left without anything. I invite you to join my Macomber groups. Enjoy your "new" Macomber loom, you will have many years of happy weaving.
