The big thing happening this month is I am final going to be getting new EYE BALLS “cataract surgery (well one eye ball this month & one next month) next Wednesday (Aug 7th). I have a ton of projects to get done before then.

Cotton

The UKI discontinued mercerized cotton colors are listed here. $7 a pound, buy 2 get the 3rd at half price or buy 5 and pay for 4 pounds plus shipping from NC.

3/2 #4 Pink D 74

5/2 #118 Iris D 2

10/2 #33MediumbluD 1

20/2 #66 MidnightD 93

20/2 #88 WisteriaD 64

UKI has gotten better with the number of colors not in stock and are getting inventory every day.

I have on hand very nice 14/2 natural (RS, CP) (Ring spun carded and combed) US cotton on 4 pound cones for $10 pound and 20/2 natural US cotton (RS, CP) with a tight twist on 4 pound cones for $10 pound.

Silk

I added 12/2 natural mulberry spun silk ready to be dyed or use as is to my lineup. Right now I only have a few skeins left at $12 skein or $120 Kilo

I have lots of silk on hand so if you are looking for silk fiber (4 types), silk on cones or skeins I may have it on hand ready to ship. Cheryl and my son Kerry will be running the business for a few days or until I can see the keyboard.

Linen

I have linen from 70/1 lea to 10/2 lea on cones ready to ship. 10/1, 10/2, 20/1, 20/2 and 40/2 skeins ready to dye.

Yesterday we had 10 weavers from the Chattahoochee Handweavers Guild of Atlanta, GA stop by my warehouse and Cheryl’s weaving studio. We supplied them lunch, they also came with some nice goodies to eat. I think everyone had a nice time buying yarn, playing with Cheryl’s yarn and all of our looms.

I hope all goes well, I have not been thinking about it, just keeping my mind on business and all of my projects.

I hope everyone has a safe and enjoyable summer.
