Here's a scarf I wove on the same warp as another scarf that didn't work. I didn't have enough warp left to weave my usual 60 inch scarf with fringe, so I wove what I could and put a pick of seed beads in the fold of the hem.
The draft is a 4S snowflake twill. I opened a plain weave shed which gave me close to the same spacing as the beads. I put in one pick of pre-strung seed beads using a pick-up stick to adjust the warp ends between the beads where necessary. Then I changed to the next snowflake shed, tucked in the bead string tails, and threw the next pick. Easy!
The hand stitched hem is about 3/8 inch wide and I wove the turned-under part of the hem with sewing thread to lessen the bulk. I was going to put a beaded fringe on the scarf, but after wearing it, I don't think it needs it.

Happy New Year everyone!
