Notes:

This draft was originally written by Beverly Savel, and published by _Weaving Today_. I found it as one of four baby blanket drafts from the Weaving Today web site, and modified it to my taste.

I fell in love the the crayon motif, when I saw it.  The five shaft draft was fun to warp and weave. The combination of Bockens unmercerized cotton, with UKI mercerized cotton, made a fair representation of the "wax" crayon and the "paper" label.

Crayon Blanket

That is so cool!!!  What an idea!  I love the colors, and the crayons and labels!   Nice execution.

Wait until it comes off the loom

I'll bet it gets even better when wet-finished!

Beautiful

Love the texture difference between the crayon and the label.  Also curious how it looks when wet-finished.
