I used fishline at the fold in heddles next to the last strand of each layer. The last dent (fold side) was altered from 4 strands/dent to 2 strands in the second to last dent and 2 strands plus 2 fishlines in the last dent at the fold. The fold had no altered texture when done but the pattern was a little squished. Next time I will try spreading out the strands in the last two dents so I will have 4 dents at 2 strands per dent rather than 2. The bamboo makes a very nice light summer blanket. I do not know how to add the wif I made and actually used but it was based directly on the cited draft.
This looks cozy, and I'd love to hear more about how you treated the end - is that a satin binding? It all looks lovely.
I like the dark, woodsy colors.
What's the brand/source for your yarn?
Thank you. I did add satin binding. The blanket was a gift to my 6 foot 4 inch son. I offset the binding a bit to add about an inch in length to the blanket. I should have planned for another 6-8 inches in length for him. He uses it all the time and loves the softness and light weight.
My son chose the colors and they are nice! They are his college colors. I purchased the green and charcoal from WEBS and the black from the Woolery. We have had a bit of pilling from the black yarn.
