Notes:

Scarf in progress, superwash wool warp and weft. I plied a reflective yarn into the weft so it will light up when light hits it.

Warp and weft are both Jilly Dream, reflective thread is from Giovanna Imperia.

Cool idea Marie. What do you see when the lights aren't hitting it, more violet/blue? Curious minds want to know:)

It's a blue/grey scarf in a slightly unevenly colored wool woven in a broken twill. The idea was to keep it low key.  The reflective stuff only shows when light hits it.  That picture was taken with the flash, it's not normally that bright.  I had to ply the reflective thread with the weft (singles) to get it to lie right and had to overspin it a bit as well. I'm curious if it will 'collapse' or crinkle when I wet it. We will see. I decided not to sample it again, I did do an initial sample, and live dangerously.

This is really cool

I did not realize that was light reflecting off the scarf until I looked really close.  What a great idea.
