<p>... or better known as munkbålte. Here in Iceland it is called salún, salon or salón, and the reason why, is not known. It is believed it has been woven here for longest of time, usually used as bedspread. There is a description on how to weave salún on kljásteinsvefstað that is over 200 years old. Kljásteinsvefstað was the old way of weaving, (see picture in link: http://www2.skagafjordur.is/default.asp?cat_id=5816&module_id=220&am... where they are weaving röggvarfeld).
I use kambgarn, blue, dark red, pink, brown and light brown, 100% wool.
I am going to do 2 pillows.
I noticed the line are curved, so I must be doing something wrong.</p>
