thank you caroline and Laverne,

yes it was fun.I counted 35 persons without my own family ;some came from our own village but others came from futher away. One lady immediately wanted  to buy some wool even though the wool was still wet.many people never had seen backstrap weaving before and had no clue how it works so I had to show it a lot;good that I still had the stripes because counting and talking in the same time leads to mistakes.now i can continue and try the warp floats.

i am SO glad it was such a sucess and it sounds like you really enjoyed it. What fun to be able to sell a few of your hand made things too. Yes, I know what you mean about talking and trying to do pick up patterns-doesn't work!! I am happy you are going to try the warp float designs.

thank you for sharing your Photos.

I had asked myself how your "garageday" has been . I think I would have  liked it also very well.

Hi Jeannine,

Great photos.  Your Open Day looks like a great success.  glad to hear that you are going to try the pick up patterns.  I have been having a good time learning them, myself.
