I have used a wild warp for a shawl.  It was a mix of bulky yarns, sparkle yarns to add some bling and few strands of doubled eyelash yarns here and there.  It was a wonderful weave...no rules to follow.  In the end I called the shawl "A Beautiful Mess".  It sold immediately!!

That is beautiful. Yes I love the complete and utter lack of "rules" in creating wild warps. Just let it all go, it's the weaving equivalent of dance like no one is watching! I think they're great for using up ends from other projects!
