Our studio has an old Dorset 4 harness loom. a weaver is having problems due to the beater bar being torqued. it's not hitting the fell line straight across with out using both hands. can someone please tell me where to purchase a new part or even used part for this loom?  beater bar measures 29 across.

or is there a way to fix it without getting replacement parts?

check at the bottom of the loom where the frame for the beater bar attaches.  Mine has "slots" and one of the nuts tends to slip, causing the bar to hit unevenly.  Once I tighten up the nut so that the beater bar frame sits equally in the slots, this problem goes away.
