It will be two shawls woven with a fine Alpaca laceweight yarn which was naturally dyed by my friend Kathy Rowe who died of cancer just over a year ago. It will be sett at 40 epi and woven in a simple twill.
This yarn is very special to me and I have been holding on to it until I felt like I could emotionally use it. I have always known I would weave it.
The yarn was for sale in my shop and when I heard that she had passed I removed it all from the shop wall and brought it home.
