I have been weaving on this almost everyday since I brought my Tissart loom home, so it is sort of a tapestry diary.  I am mostly a floor loom weaver, so I am finding tapestry to have a number of challenges:

1.  Using multiple ends without using a double bobbin shuttle, sometimes one or another of the ends in the groups goes wacky on me

2.  Maintaining a straight selvage.  Of course, I have enough trouble with this on my floor looms, so its a MAJOR challenge for me on tapestry - LOL.  I am using the trick that I read on Tommey's blog to leave the first and last end unwoven as a guide.  It helps, sort of - more like shows how not straight and even it is:-)

3.  Having all these bobbins and weft ends hanging.  Sometimes they get all twisted around or I grab the wrong one.  I have not decided if I like them dangling or laying on the tool shelf, I guess time will tell.

These colors are lovely. Tapestry technique is honed through practice, practice, practice! Just like any skill, if is daunting at first but moving forward is the key. Please post again! Tommye

Very nice, if you're working on it everyday then in my book it's a tapestry diary! Tommye is right it's practice, something I tackle everyday. Have fun and post some more! Cathie

Thanks for your encouragement.  I know that tapestry is weaving, basically over and under, but once you are doing it, it is so much more.
