Hi Travelers:

One of my wishes for ages has been to enroll in a weaving program in one of the Scandinavian countries.

Have any of you any experience and recommendations you could share as to several I should consider?

I recall Laura Fry attended one but cannot remember which.

Thanks,

Beaverly

The Loom Museum is in southern Sweden and Lillemor speaks better English than I do.  So, language is not a problem.   There are usually short courses all summer long.

Thanks Kerstin for posting answers.  I went to both school's websites - thanks for the links.  Have you any idea how a student speaking no Swedish would fare in either?

Language would probably not be a problem - both schools have long tradition of having international students. Also, most Swedes have at least some English - for the last 60 (or so) years English has been mandatory in schools.

(That said - if I see a lost-looking tourist I always ask in Swedish first...)
