At Convergence I ordered some curly maple Angel Wings  and a special ruler/stick shuttle  from Purrington Looms (to be made and delivered to me, est. shipping September 1).  Jane & Bruce were in contact with me when that date came and went without shipment.  Oct 1 rolled around and I've tried contacting them by email several times and then today I called - no answer, no machine.  Does anyone know if they're ok?  Is it Rhinebeck fever that has them tied up?  I'm not angry about the lateness of the shipment but I'm worried that prompt communication has turned into no communication.  (And I do want my Angels!).

Anyone know anything?

I wish I could help, but I've had a similar experience except I ordered online soon after convergence.  I tried email both email addresses I found online about 3-4weeks after I ordered.  They both bounced back.  I keep forgetting to call, but will try tomorrow.

DebD - got a hold of them via their Facebook page - are alive and well, just over committed and having email server problems.  According to the message I got, my Convergence order (a special angel wings order in curly maple) was held up because the wood was a special order.  Maybe try through Facebook to find out your order status.

Ladies - thanks for your patience.  Hope you are ultimately satisfied with your product.  We've made some changes here in the factory, have streamlined the ordering and production process and I'm currently learning new accounting software (which will be a HUGE help!).  We've got a steady extra set of hands at the production end AND have almost completely cleared up the backlog.  We are now shipping Angel Wings within 48 hours of orders!  Still a minor backlog on looms, but catching up on them too!
