In addition to 2 days of presentations, 2020 Highlights include:

 • *Small Expressions* 2019 will be on view, along with an exhibition of color studies by Lucille Landis from the museum's collections. Gallery reception on Wednesday, April 29, 4:30-5:30pm.• A Conference Marketplace, where attendees bring wares to buy, sell, and/or trade. Previous marketplace items have included equipment, rare books, fiber, and handwoven textiles.• A panel session on weaving and identifying diaper. All are  welcome to bring samples of this beautiful weave for the discussion!• A special Show & Tell session Presentation topics include the following (among others): Lou Tate and the Little Loomhouse; Kurrentschrift and the Manuscripts of the Early 19th Century Pennsylvania German; Christian King and His Brothers: Weavers in the Southern Pennsylvania Coverlet Tradition; Ikat: Single, Double, and Compound; Context, Symbols, and Meaning: The “Agriculture and Manufactures” Coverlet;Textiles & Technology: Life Skill to Craft and Back Again; Reed-Making Stories from the Early 19th Century in the Northeastern United States; An Ode to the Hoarders, er, Collectors, and The LaTourette Family Weavers: Three Brothers Born in New Jersey. Conference cost is $235 for non-TIAC members, and includes 2 breakfasts, 2 lunches, and one dinner on Thursday eve. Rooms can be booked at the 1000 Islands Harbor Hotel at the starting rate of $119 per night.
